The Aqua Ultraviolet Ultima II 10000 biomechanical filter is an effective way to remove ammonia and waste from your pond. Filled with a patented media the Ultima II has an extremely high surface area for beneficial bacteria to grow. The beneficial bacteria colonizing in this filter will help to convert ammonia produced by your pond fish to less harmful compounds. It has proven to be an effective biomechanical filter for improving water quality in water gardens and koi ponds.

A dense bed of rigid filter media traps solids from your pond without clumping. There are Internal jets inside the filter body that are activated in the backwash cycle separating the debris from the media and evacuates it out the waste line. This waste water is perfect for your garden. Backwashing is a simple procedure that is performed by rotating a valve.

Recommended for ponds 6,000 to 10,000 gallons.
