Thank you for expressing interest in Artisan Aquatics Inc., a California corporation. We are pleased to provide you with our pricing guidelines for installation of your water feature.
Artisan Aquatics uses 100% Pure Polyurea Elastomer to form water containment structures. The process involves using this industrial strength membrane in pond, stream and waterfall construction.
Paul Parszik President, Artisan Aquatics Inc.
The following explains the breakdown in project cost estimation:
Polyurea sprayed (quantum sufficit) onto geotextile material, concrete, wood and most other substrates: $1O.00/sq ft. Some ponds, waterfalls and streams may cost more because of greater complexity of design: $15.00-17.00/sq ft using expanded metal lath.
Each penetration to the liner: $100.00. Each penetration greater than 2" and less than 8" $200.00. Penetrations between 8" and 12" = $300.00.
All additional work will be billed on a time ($75.00/hr/worker) plus material and/or consumable equipment (cost plus 20%) basis. Typically this can include design work, stream and waterfall construction after the Polyurea containment is in place, rock placement, water circulation and filtration system work, excavation, laser, masking, drying out, cleaning, cement work, carpentry, insulation, etc.
Minimum MobilizationlDemobilization, including set-up and breakdown and generator fuel surcharge: $75.00 inside Los Angeles/Orange County metro area, $150.00 outside. Projects requiring travel 100 miles or more from Los Angeles will be billed @ $1.00 / mile. Airfare/transportation, lodging charges, as applicable, are reimbursed at cost plus 10%.
Minimum charge for on site construction or repair: $1,000.00.
Insurance Work: Payment for services rendered is the sole responsibility of the owner.
Payment schedule: A start-up payment of the lesser of 10% of the total estimated cost of your work or $1,000.00 will be due at the time the contract is signed and before spray process begins. Progress payments will be billed. A final payment covering the total actual Polyurea consumption and all other actual costs, as outlined above, is immediately due upon completion of the liner or secondary operations (such as, but not limited to, landscaping, gravel, water feature rocks, filtration, etc) are added to the project or before another contractor begins work.
